HTC One M8 for AT&T receives software update with HD voice, battery improvements, and more

HTC One M8 for AT&TAT&T is rolling out a software update for the HTC One M8 on its network. While it may not be the Lollipop update everyone is waiting for, the new software brings Android 4.4.4 along with a significant list of changes to HTC's flagship smartphone.

Calling someone from an AT&T line with a compatible phone should result in much improved quality, thanks to the new HD voice feature. The update also brings battery life enhancements, which is always a welcome addition to modern smartphones.
