Adobe Lightroom for Android arrives on Google Play, allows editing RAW images

Adobe Lightroom for AndroidAdobe Lightroom for Android is now available on the Google Play Store, allowing users to edit their favorite RAW photos captured on your DSLR camera directly on your mobile devices. In order to sync photos from your Adobe Lightroom desktop app, you will require an Adobe subscription. You can however take advantage of the free 30 day trial.

Adobe Lightroom for Android has the following features:
  • Edit raw files from DSLR cameras using Smart Previews.
  • Edit images from your Android phone’s Gallery.
  • Enhance images using familiar Lightroom tools and presets.
  • Import photos from your Gallery.
  • Quickly flag and reject photos.
  • Automatically sync photo edits, metadata, and collection info with Lightroom 5 on your desktop and all your Lightroom -enabled devices.
  • Easily share photos online via social networks.
Unfortunately, at this time Adobe Lightroom for Android is only available for smartphones, and not for tablet. Hopefully Adobe will understand the importance of editing photos on larger screen devices and include tablet support soon.
