Microsoft releases update for Windows 10 build 9879 in preparation of January Technical Preview

Microsoft is rolling out yet another update to Windows 10 build 9879, which is the latest build available through the Windows Insider Program. The update prepares your system to update the next build, which is expected in January.

Microsoft has scheduled an event on January 21, following which the company will release a new technical preview of Windows 10. The upcoming build will focus on consumers and will bring several enhancements to the Windows 10 user interface as part of Microsoft's FBL-AWESOME branch..
