Motorola updates various apps with modern design and new features

Motorola didn't waste any time pushing the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to a number of its devices, and it is parallelly ensuring that its users receive a cohesive experience by updating a its apps. The company has started off my pushing out updates to a number of its core apps including Camera and Gallery.

The updated Motorola Camera for Android brings a flattened UI, with brighter colors. Functionality-wise, Motorola has added a new timer mode and a twist gesture to switch between the front and rear shooter, with the latter only available for the Moto X, Droid Ultra, and Droid Turbo.

The updated Motorola Camera for Android has the following new features and improvements:

• Convenient Timer mode
• Twist to switch to front camera * only available on Moto X, Droid Ultra, and Droid Turbo
• New Material design

The updated Motorola Gallery for Android, also becomes brighter and more colorful in its latest release.

• Now offering Lollipop's Material Design to provide a bold, colorful and responsive design
• Performance improvements
