HTC Desire EYE - Video Review

The HTC Desire EYE was first introduced around a month ago featuring a 13MP front camera to match the one on its rear. While its highlight is clearly in the selfie department, the Desire EYE also packs some respectable hardware, though the outer shell is made predominantly of plastic instead of the metal we see on HTC's flagships.

While other selfie-centric phones have chosen to offer mid-range hardware, the HTC Desire EYE matches the hardware found on its flagship, the HTC One M8. In fact it even costs as much as the One M8 on most markets. The only downside is that customers who are "eyeing" the EYE will have to be content with the unibody plastic design which replaces the metal.

While some may argue that devices like the Sony Xperia C3, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and Nokia Lumia 730 are viable alternatives, the Desire EYE is arguably the best at taking selfies for now, though its not as budget friendly.

In any case, the HTC Desire EYE remains a great alternative to the HTC One M8, if you are looking for a device with a more capable camera.
