Apple Mac OS X (10.10) Yosemite Gold Master (GM) 3 released

Apple Mac OS X (10.10) YosemiteApple is rolling out the third Golden Master (GM) Candidate of OS X 10.10 Yosemite, which is expected to launch later this month, following Apple upcoming media event. At this stage, Apple isn't adding any major features or changes to Yosemite, rather refining the software and making it ready for the end user.

The first GM was released at the end of last month, and while that would have generally signified the end of development on Yosemite, Apple chose to release a second GM just recently with with some refinements. Given the release of a third GM, Apple may not be quite satisfied with the final version of Yosemite just yet. While it's unlikely that Apple will release another GM before the public release of Yosemite, there is no evidence suggesting that we won't see another GM or two before Yosemite is made available through the Mac App Store.
