[Android app] Vine updated with editing tools and import feature

Vine for AndroidVine for Android has received a significant update which brings the app more in line with its iOS counterpart in terms of features. Vine for Android is a service from Twitter which allows you to create 6 seconds of video in a looping feed that you can tag and then post.

You can download the update directly on your device through the Google Play Store or by using the following link

The update introduces two major changes to Vine. Firstly, users will be able to import videos, meaning you no longer have to shoot it all live. Additionally you will have the option to edit videos within the Vine app. Previously, you had to record everything in order, making videos with multiple cuts much more difficult. Now, you have a lot more flexibility and control over your creations. You can reorder clips, erase clips, or undo any edits you make.

Even though the update brings parity between the iOS and Android versions of Vine, Windows Phone users are still left waiting on these new features.
