Sprint adds new LTE and Spark markets, international Wi-Fi calling and 30-day free trial

Earlier today, Sprint introduced its exclusive Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. Now the nation's third largest carrier has announced that its 4G LTE service has expanded to 28 new markets, bringing the total to 471. New cities covered include Seattle, Cleveland, and San Jose. On top of this, the Sprint Spark service has been expanded to three new markets, bringing that total to 27.

Sprint has also announced the nationwide availability of HD Voice. 16 million Sprint customers are currently using the service, which provides clearer, more natural sounding voice. With noise-cancelling technology, background noise is virtually eliminated. Sprint says that 28 of its post-paid smartphones support the service, while 33 of the operator's pre-paid phones work with the feature. Additionally, sometime over the next several weeks, Sprint customers will be able to talk or send texts from out of the country via Wi-Fi calling. More than 100 countries will support the service, which means that you should be able to communicate no matter where you are overseas.

Sprint is also offering a new risk-free 30 day trial period. If you aren't satisfied with Sprint within the first 30 days after you sign up, the carrier will refund the cost of all devices, and waive service and activation charges. The 30 day trial period starts with new customers signing up with Sprint on June 27th, or later.
