The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is offered as an alternative to the the Apple iPad mini, offering a premium finish and packed with a beautiful Super AMOLED display. Samsung's based Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab S 8.4 model costs $400, which happens to be the same price as Apple's iPad mini. However those on a budget will also have the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 to choose from. The deciding factor, naturally, is that if you’re more intent on consuming multimedia content, you’re best bet is to pick up the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, but if you’re more inclined to do some serious work while on the go, then stick with the Tab Pro 8.4.
