Samsung Galaxy S4 mini for Sprint receives Android 4.4 KitKat

The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini for Sprint is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update. The update which is being rolled out in stages to devices OTA (over-the-air) brings Android 4.4.2 along with the L520VPUBNE3 build number.

With Android KitKat, the Galaxy S4 mini will get all the expected enhancements including the white notification bar icons, a larger selection of emoji, new wireless printing options, and consolidated location settings. The media controls on the lock screen are different, and there's a camera shortcut tucked away there as well.

Since this is a major update, you could expect several other features and enhancements with this update. So its best to experience some of these new features for yourself.
