Sony Xperia A2 announced for Japan, coming in mid-June

The Sony Xperia A2 (codenamed SO04F) is available for pre-order starting today through Japanese carrier DoCoMo. The specs which are similar to the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, include a 4.3 inch 720p LCD Triluminous display, a 20.7MP rear camera and a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.

The device measures in at 128 x 65 x 9.7mm, which makes it slightly larger than the Z1 Compact, it also offers water resistance with IP58-certification.  The Xperia A2 will be available in a couple of bold new colors, including lavender and orange, and will be hitting the shelves in mid-June.
