Amazon AppStore updated (9.0) with carrier billing support in select countries

The Amazon Appstore for Android has been updated to version 9, which brings carrier billing support in select countries. This feature will enable some users to add app purchases to their mobile bill at the end of the month rather than supply Amazon with a credit or debit card.

Unfortunately there is no further information regarding this feature nor is there a list of countries where carrier support is available for the Amazon AppStore for Android. So if any of you have had any luck activating the feature on your carrier, feel free to share it with the rest of us in the comments.
