Xbox Music for Windows Phone updated (2.5) with Cortana integration

Xbox Music for Windows Phone has been updated to version 2.5.2842.0 for Windows Phone 8 devices. This is the first update to the app for Windows Phone 8.1 devices and it brings full Cortana integration, a polished user interface and several stability fixes and improvements.

Xbox Music for Windows Phone version 2.5.2842.0 has the following new features and improvements:

• Numerous stability fixes, including many of the reported black screens
• Full Cortana integration including playing Playlists by name
• UI Polish to improve animations and transitions between UI views
• Improved messaging for encountered errors, such as unplayable content in collections
• Background initial sync of local and cloud content
