Samsung Galaxy S5 for Sprint receives software update

The Samsung Galaxy S5 for Sprint (SM-G900P) which was released on April 11th, is reportedly receiving a new software update. The update brings a few new features and improvements, while the Android version remains the same.

The Galaxy S5 for Sprint features a 5.1 inch touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 16 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front camera, and a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM.

The update is being rolled out in phases, so it maybe a few days before it is available for your device.  The full change-log of the G900PVPU1AND2 update for the Sprint Galaxy S5 follows:

• Fixed alarm failure when deleting alarm
• Fixed email duplication (when moving an email from original folder to another folder the email should only be viewable in the moved to folder)
• Fixed Daydream when using S View Cover (when view cover is closed Daydream should not start)
• Fixed device responsiveness when using S View Cover
• When a user does a search using S Finder, Google search results are removed from the list
• Enable camera capture during voice call
