Samsung Galaxy S5 for T-Mobile - Official unboxing video

T-Mobile is expected to offer pre-orders of their Galaxy S5 starting March 24, ahead of its April 11 launch. Meanwhile the carrier has released its own official unboxing video of the Samsung Galaxy S5. The video is narrated by T-Mobile's product expert, who shows off the steps required to get the phone to boot-up once the seal is broken on the box.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 for T-Mobile will cost $0 down with $27.50 due monthly for 24 months. That works out to $660. That pricing is being called a "special introductory price" that the nation's fourth largest carrier is charging up through March 31st. Starting next month, T-Mobile will probably re-work the pricing to require a down payment along with the monthly installment charges.

The Galaxy S5 introduces new features like a heart rate monitor, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, and IP67 certified water and dust proofing. Samsung's brand new flagship is also available through carriers like AT&T, Sprint and U.S. Cellular. The first two are asking for $199.99 with a signed two-year pact while U.S. Cellular will reserve you a unit for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
