The newer model runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and is powered by a faster 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Other specs like the 4 inch touch display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD,  a 5 megapixel rear camera and secondary VGA camera remain the same.
