Motorola Moto X for T-Mobile receives Android 4.4.2 software update

Following a reported soak test, the unlocked Motorola Moto X for T-Mobile is now receiving the Android 4.4.2 software update. The software update which is around 146.7MB in size, brings new functionality along with general bug fixes and performance improvements.

Among the new features is the addition of Google's Cloud Print functionality which will allow you to print documents from various apps via Wifi or Bluetooth to either a Cloud Print enabled printer or to a FedEx store. The update also fixes a bug which causes battery life issues for users on Android 4.4 as well as possible issues with syncing a Microsoft Exchange account.

The update is being pushed out OTA (over-the-air) and users should receive a notification when it is available for your device. You can also manually check for the update on your device under Settings. Once you receive the notification to install the update, make sure that your battery is fully (at least 35%) charged and that you are connected to your Wifi if you want to save on your data plan.
