As you may know by now, LG is planning to release the LG G Pro 2 very soon. Now the Korean based manufacturer is sending out invitations for February 13th, for an event which will be held at the LG Twin Towers in Yeouido, Seoul.

The invites read "Knock-knock knockin' on" which is a tip of the hat to LG's Knock On feature which allows the user to awaken a sleeping handset by tapping on the screen twice. All the clues indicate that the LG G Pro 2 could be unveiled during this event.

The LG G Pro 2, the successor to the LG Optimus G Pro and should not be mistaken as the successor to the company's current flagship, the LG G2. LG first announced the G Pro 2 in January, promising that its newest phablet will be unveiled in a month.

LG would then tease the LG G Pro 2 camera, stating that it will feature a 13MP sensor with enhanced Optical Image Stabilization technology that LG is calling OIS Plus, and  be capable of recording 4K / Ultra HD video (3840 x 2160 pixels). The 2.1MP front camera on the G Pro 2  also promises "improved performance."

While LG hasn't officially divulged other information, the G Pro 2 is expected feature a 6 inch full HD display and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU with 3GB of RAM.

All this and more, should become official on February 13th, so be sure to mark your calendars and check back on the said date for more information on the LG G Pro 2.
