The BlackBerry Jakarta is a smartphone manufactured by Foxconn which will run BlackBerry 10. The handset is aimed at developing markets and is means to compete with the Nokia Lumia 520 and the Nokia Lumia 525 instead of flagship devices.

Now the upcoming device has been leaked out showing us various angles of the device.

Is this what the future of BlackBerry will look like? Is this what the company need to do to survive? Would the BlackBerry brand carry the same clout if it was manufactured without the design and production involvement from the Canadian manufacturer.
