Opera 19 is now available for download

Opera Software has released the final version 19 of their web browser for the Windows and Mac platforms. It’s the fifth major update since the browser was rebooted with the Chromium browser engine, and brings a few new features and improvements.

One of the most important improvements has been found in Opera 19 is the bookmarks bar, which will give you one-click access to your favorite websites. Another great thing offered by Opera 19 is the possibility to set different browser wallpapers, so that its users can now right-click an image and hit the “Use image as theme” to change the default background.

According to the development team, the Bookmarks Bar “is a simple way of storing, accessing and modifying your bookmarks. For easy modification you can create bookmarks by dragging and dropping from tabs (windows only). Think of it like a quick access bar to get around fast to your favorite sites. Moreover, the full bookmarks API is also live now. Play with it and check it out.”

The developing team has guaranteed that a new version of Opera Next is currently in the works and should be released soon with more great features.
