We have already seen the iPad Air go up against the Note 10.1 (2014). But Samsung has another, cheaper tablet in their lineup, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. The Apple iPad Air is clearly the better performer, but it has one huge obstacle in its path, which is its high price tag.

Android OS has advantages such as higher customizability and homescreen widgets on its side. However does the larger tablet centric app catalog on the iPad, give Apple's tablet an advantage?
