Netflix for iOS updated (5.0) for iOS 7

The Netflix for iOS app has been updated to version 5.0 with support for iOS 7 along with other stability fixes and performance improvements. The new version also includes HD playback for devices running iOS 7 or higher. Netflix is a subscription service for watching TV episodes and movies on your phone. With Netflix for iOS you can enjoy your favorite movies and tv shows directly on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

The Netflix for iOS update has the following new features and improvements:

• AirPlay streaming for iOS 7 (requires disabling AirPlay mirroring)

Back in 2011, Netflix said that they would never support AirPlay and suggested that users use the dedicated Apple TV app instead. However it looks like the company has changed their stance with their latest release.
