LG G2 for Verizon receives software update

The LG G2 for Verizon is receiving a VS98011A software update which promises to bring enhancements and improvements to your device. There doesn't seem to be any details on this update at this point, but we will be sure to update this post when we find out more.

The update is being pushed (OTA) over-the-air and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. In case you missed the notification or would prefer manually checking for the update, you can do so by heading to Menu Key > Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for Updates

Users are advised to Please make sure your battery is fully charged, and you are receiving a strong Verizon Wireless or Wi-Fi signal before beginning your software update.
