Apple iOS 7.0 Beta 5 now available for developersThe fifth beta of iOS 7.0 has now been released for developers registered in Apple's iOS developer program. Its been a little over a week since Apple released the fourth iOS 7.0 beta and we already have a new version arriving on developer iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices.

The new version brings some enhancements to the lock screen music controls, unlocking doesn't come with an accompanying sound, a fix for apps like Skype and Twitter and a fix for headphone-based controls. There have also been continuous visual enhancements to unify the look of iOS 7 across the system with new icons and app designs. The beta also brings improvements to dictionary support, snappier animations, and some minor reorganizing in the Mail app.

So if you are a registered developer head over to developer.apple.com/programs/ios/ and sign in with your Apple ID. If you haven't registered for the developer program and wish to try out the latest version of iOS, you can register for an account ($99/year in the United States, or £60/year in the UK) and learn how to download and install the update on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Keep in mind that with the final version of iOS 7.0 expected later this summer, its likely that Apple is close to finalizing their latest version of iOS.
