The fourth beta of iOS 7.0 has now been released for developers. Until now Apple has been systematic with delivering new betas for iOS 7, but the fourth beta was slightly delayed due to the security breach on the iOS Dev Portal two weeks ago. Now that the issues have been resolved their are back on track with the official release of the latest beta of iOS 7.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
The fourth beta brings few new features and improvements along with the bug fixes and performance improvements you can expect from each release. However the most interesting feature which has been unraveled is the possibility of a fingerprint sensor being included in the next generation iPhone.
News of the fingerprint sensor has been circulating for some time now, with a recent rumor suggesting that Apple would be integrating a fingerprint sensor into the device display. The beta four contains a strings of code referring to the fingerprint scanner, one of which states “a Photo of a person holding an iPhone with their left hand while touching the home button with their thumb.”
