Facebook for Android has been updated to version 3.4 and brings a few new features and improvements. This is the same version of the app which was previously released as a beta for testing but includes a few new bug fixes in the final release.

Facebook for Android version 3.4 has the following new features and improvements:

• Share News Feed stories in a private message
• Swipe left and right to open chat and bookmarks
• You can now store the app on your phone's SD card (Android 2.3.7 and lower)
• Fix for a bug with data transfer on app start
• Fixed "checkin" button not showing on Timeline
• Fixed a crash when using the bug reporter
