[Guide] How to install leaked Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy S4

Google may not have officially released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean yet, but it has already leaked and available to be installed on the Samsung Galaxy S4. This is a leaked ROM which indicates that Samsung along with other manufacturers have already had access to the upcoming Android update.

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) who have installed the ROM have reported that the process has been successful and that everything seems to be working as expected. So if you own one of these units and want to try out the update, the step by step instruction on how to install Android 4.3 on the Samsung Galaxy S4 follows:

[NOTE] This is the stock version of Android 4.3 and does not contain the Samsung Touchwiz interface or Samsung apps you generally have on your device. The software is visually identical to the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition, and includes the new live wallpaper along with some minor changes like ‘emergency broadcasts’ and an option to ‘avoid weak Wi-Fi connections’.

[NOTES]
  • This is not flashable through Odin.
  • This will void your warranty.
  • Don't attempt this if you don't have the skills to flash a custom ROM
  • You are doing this on your own risk
  • Make sure you backup your data before you proceed. You will need to perform a format on your device before installing the ROM.
  1. Download either one
  2. Copy the Android 4.3 ROM to your internal SD card
    -
  3. Enter Recovery (Power + Volume Up + Home)
    -
  4. Perform a Wipe/Factory Reset
    -
  5. Flash the 4.3 ROM to your device
    -
