Nokia Lumia 521 back in stock at HSN

The Nokia Lumia 521 went on sale at the Home Shopping Network (HSN) last month for an off contract $149.95 price. The device game bundled with a car charger and a screen protector. The 400 units that HSN had on sale sold out and the device even sold out later on Walmart and T-Mobile pre-paid.

Now this entry-level Windows Phone is back in stock at HSN and will cost you $149.95, which can be paid off in four equal installments of  $37.49, with free shipping and handling included.

Now keep in mind that this is not the best Windows Phone in the market but it is the cheapest. The Lumia 521 features a 4.0 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.

The 4 inch display is generous for an entry level handset and it comes with Nokia's Super Sensitive touch which allows you to operate the display even when you are wearing gloves or if you have long fingernails.

The other great thing about this handset is that is runs a dual-core processor across its entire range. This means that whether you own an expensive Nokia Lumia 920 or a Lumia 521 you will have the same processor powering your device with the same smooth jitter free modern tile based experience.

I was quite surprised to see many reputed tech sites actually put down this device. But for its $150 contract free price, I doubt you will find a replacement from the Android or iOS world which can give you this much.
