HTC First headed to U.K. as EE exclusive

The HTC First is headed to the United Kingdom as an exclusive to EE. The mobile operator was the first to offer 4G LTE service in the nation and will be the first to launch the Facebook Home device sometime this summer.

The HTC First features a 4.3 inch touch display, 4G LTE connectivity, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.

As you can see the specs don’t really scream high end device as the First with its mid-range specs would likely find a home with a younger audience looking for an affordable yet attractive smartphone.

Its best suited for the Facebook user who finds themselves checking into their Facebook page numerous times a day.

The EE variant of the device will include some proprietary features including EE Film, which offers 2 for 1 cinema tickets, trailers, listings and digital movie downloads. It will also include a £5 discount on EE's FibreBroadband for superfast data speeds at home and on the road comes with the phone, and customer service can be quickly reached by dialing '33' on the handset. Additionally, Clone Phone Lite allows the user of the phone to store the most important content from their handset safely on secure servers.

Do you live in the U.K.? Do you plan on purchasing an HTC First?
