Samsung has revealed its update schedule for existing Android smartphones on its Ukraine website. The Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Galaxy S II will be receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update in March.
Meanwhile the budget friendly devices like the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and the Samsung Galaxy S Advance will receive the update in April. The news is not only about phones, tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 are also included in Samsung update plans.
Most of these handsets will receive Android 4.1.2 which will include the Google Now digital assistant and the performance improvements and smoothness from Project Butter along with other security enhancements and app updates.
The dates should be valid for all unlocked handsets while the carrier branded devices may take a little longer to receive the update. Check out the full list of devices which will be updated below.
