Nokia Lumia 1000 appears on China Mobile phone list

We have been hearing about a Nokia Lumia 1000 even before rumors of the Nokia EOS started to appear. Now it has been reported that the Lumia 1000 has been entered into an official China Mobile database. We aren't certain if the Lumia 1000 and the Nokia EOS are the same device or something different altogether.

The EOS is expected to feature a 41 megapixel PureView Phase 1 camera and be the successor to the Nokia 808 PureView. It would make sense that Nokia would attempt to infiltrate the world’s largest carrier with their newest flagship camera phone. The EOS is expected to arrive in the U.S. later this year alongside the Nokia Catwalk and both devices are expected to feature a metal bodies instead of the heavier polycarbonate which has been on most current Lumia handsets.

Nokia has scheduled a press event for February 25, during the upcoming MWC, and we expect that we will eventually know the future of the Lumia 1000 and its connection (if any) to the Nokia EOS.
