[DEAL] Great discounts on the Google Nexus 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note II at Walmart


If you have been following our website, you may know that T-Mobile is selling the Nexus 4 for $49.99 on contract. As a result of the discounted price the stock of Google’s flagship smartphone has been running low and you miss out on a chance to get your hands on one of these elusive handset.

Now Walmart is also offering the Google Nexus 4 at $148 with a two-year contract. But if you are prefer something from Samsung’s lineup Walmart also has the Samsung Galaxy Note II in white for $278 on contract.

If you are thinking why should I spend $148 on the Nexus 4 when I can get it for $49.99 from T-Mobile, you will have to keep in mind that the deal is only on until February 18th, when the Nexus 4 will go back to its regular $199.99 on contract. So the Walmart option is a better option to fall back on in case you miss out on the ongoing T-Mobile promotion. With its 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, the Nexus 4 is definitely a great device to own. Additionally it is one of the only devices running  and will be front in line for future Android updates.

But not everyone likes the stock Android experience, and the Galaxy Note II offers users a great alternative. This phone-tablet (or phablet) which carries T-Mobile’s branding features a 5.5 inch HD touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Its larger display, Samsung optimized experience and integrated stylus make it one of the best devices in the market. Additionally Walmart’s asking price is $91 cheaper than what it costs at T-Mobile, making the offering even more appealing.
