White iPad mini already in short supply, shipments delayed

We didn't quite expect the Apple iPad mini to be so successful, but it turns out it is. Pre-orders on the device kicked off today, and it seams the white variant is already in short supply. Apple has pushed back the shipping dates on the white model due to their inability to meet the high demands.

If you look to order the white iPad mini today, you will find that the shipping date is no November 2. Instead it is set to ship within two weeks. There are two possible reasons for this, either Apple has no had sufficient stocks of the white variant or the demand on the white variant has been extremely high.

However the black variant is still in stock and now potential buyers will shift their focus to the available device. So be sure to get your hands on the black variant soon if you want to get your new tablet by November 2. Meanwhile the iPad Mini with Wi-Fi + Cellular is expected only in mid-November.

The iPad mini features a 7.9 inch touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls, optional 3G/4G connectivity and is powered by an Apple A5 dual-core processor.

Have you ordered yours?
