Nokia Lumia 920 pre-orders halted at Best Buy

We reported that Best Buy was taking pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC Windows Phone 8X on Sunday. Both devices were priced at $599.99 off contract, while the Lumia would cost $149.99 and the HTC 8X would cost $99.99 with a two-year contract. However as of today the listing have changed. While the HTC Windows Phone 8X is still available for pre-order, the Nokia Lumia 920 listing has been removed.

We cant help but wonder why the listing has been removed so quickly. Has the device stock already been sold out? or was their a glitch in the listing which prevented users from pre-ordering the device? Some lucky users who had managed to reserve the device has been presented with October 23rd or October 24th as the shipping date. This itself could have been the reason for the pre-orders being halted since the device is not supposed to launch until November 4th.

In any case, stay tuned and we will update you if Best Buy reveals more information on the Lumia 920 availability.
