Firefox for Android (16.0)The Mozilla Firefox for Android has been updated to version 16 and brings several new features and improvements. The change log will be available after the break. Firefox is a cross platform web browser which allows you to collect and take your favorite web pages and bookmarks with you on your Android mobile device.

Firefox 16 for Android has the following new features and improvements
  • Reader Mode implemented for easy readability - just tap the book icon next to the URL
  • Use the "Share" menu item to send tabs to desktop/mobile devices through the "Firefox Sync" option
  • tel: URLs crafted to maliciously wipe your phone can no longer be opened
  • Various performance improvements around JavaScript garbage collection
  • CSS3 Animations, Transitions and Gradients un-prefixed in Firefox 16
  • Fixed stability issues on the Kyocera Echo
