How to fix the Passbook can’t connect to iTunes Store error on iOS 6

Passbook is one of the hot new features of iOS 6.0. It is a virtual wallet which allows users to store gift cards, loyalty cards, boarding passes, vouchers and event tickets. However user who opened the Passbook app may have faced a “Can’t connect to iTunes Store” error message if they looked for Passbook compatible apps.

While Apple will hopefully fix this annoying bug, there is a temporary fix for this issue.

Navigate to Setting > General > Date and Time and turn off Set Automatically. Then change your year to 2013. You should then be able to view apps compatible with Passbook
