[Windows App] Kindle updated for Windows 8

The Kindle app has been updated for Windows 8. You can download the new application through the Windows Marketplace on your Windows 8 (Consumer Preview) computer.

The Kindle app for Windows 8 allows you to read ebooks on a beautiful, easy to use interface. You can access to over 1,000,000 books from the Amazon Kindle Store, which include best sellers and new releases.



With Amazon’s Whispersync technology your bookmarks, notes and last read pages are automatically synced through app your devices running the Kindle app.

The latest release of the Kindle app for Windows 8 has the following improvements:

• Updated UI
• Touch gestures which allow you to swipe between pages
• Mouse wheel support
• Tap to dismiss the AppBar in the Reader
• A Back button has been added which allows you to return to the previous page you jumped away from.
• Stability and performance imprtovements
