Sony’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update schedule announced

Sony has confirmed that their plans to bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) to their 2011 Xperia devices is progressing as planned. If you own a Sony Android device and want to know when your handset will be treated to the latest version of Android, we have put together a list which will help you find out exactly when you  you will receive the update.





Sony has also revealed the following device will be the first to receive ICS.

• Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S
• Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V
• Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray

The following devices receive Android the ICS update by the end of May or early June

• Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc
• Sony Ericsson Xepria Play
• Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo
• Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini
• Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro
• Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro
• Sony Ericsson Xperia Active
• Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman
