Firefox on Nokia N9 will have Adobe Flash support

To date the Nokia N900 is probably one of the best handsets I have used. One of its key features being full Adobe Flash support. But now thanks to the development of a Flash plugin for the Meego version of Firefox, Nokia N9 users can also enjoy Flash on their devices.


However Flash support will not be extended to the default browser or for third party software like Opera Mobile.

While Flash for the Meego version of Firefox is Adobe certified, the plugin has been developed by the folks at Nokia and not by Adobe.

The launch date for Firefox with Flash support has still not been revealed but the team has stated that it will be available in the Nokia Store when ready.
