Samsung MWC 2012 Overview

Samsung may not have stolen the show at the Mobile World Congress this year by unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S III, but they still had a good lineup of devices which made their debut during the event. The two main additions were in the form of tablets - the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The other device was the Samsung Galaxy Beam with an in built projector.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It features a 10.1 inch display, 3 megapixel camera, front facing camera for video calls, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD storage and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the larger sibling of the Samsung Galaxy Note it features a 10.1 inch touch-screen display, 3.2 megapixel rear camera, a secondary camera for video calls, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Beam features a built in HD projector, 4 inch display, 5 megapixel rear camera, secondary video calling camera, 8GB of internal storage and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. You can project your your display onto a wall using the device's built in HD projector.

Samsung dominates the Android smartphones with it's Galaxy series of devices which come in wide variety of specifications. By offering a wider selection of devices including tablets, Samsung hopes to win over a larger user base and seal it's dominance in consumer electronics.
