Apple iTunes 10.6 released

Apple has released iTunes 10.6 which is now available for download. The new version of iTunes comes with support for iOS 5.1 and the new iPad (3) which features a retina display, 5 megapixel camera, LTE connectivity and an updated processor.

The Apple iTunes 10.6 update has the following new features and improvements:

• The ability to play 1080p HD movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store.
• This release also includes many improvements for iTunes Match, including:
• Improved song matching
• Improved album artwork handling, downloading, and display
• Addresses an issue where songs may skip when playing from iCloud

You can download iTunes 10.6 using the Apple Software Updater in Windows or by selecting the Apple logo and Software Update on your Mac.
