New $99 Fire Sale on HP TouchPads this December

It looks like HP is not ready to let the TouchPad fever die down, as reports are coming in that the company is getting set to launch yet another TouchPad fire sale and it will be well in time for the holiday season.

The sale will be offered through the HP eBay Store and will start on December 11 at 6 PM (Central Time). The pricing will be similar to the first file sale, but devices up for grabs will be refurbished models. The 16GB will go at $99 and the 32GB will cost you $149. HP is also offering an optional bundle which consists of a case, charging dock and wireless keyboard which will cost $79.

You can find these items in the laptops section of HP's eBay store and you will be restricted to 2 units per customer. Payments can only be made through PayPal and you will get a 90-day warranty on the unit as it is refurbished.

The public announcement of the sale will be delayed when in begins at 6 P.M. in favour of HP employees who will get first dibs at the units. Don't be surprised if any of the employees you purchase the units will have them back up on eBay with inflated prices.
