iTunes Match starts international role out in select countries

The iTunes Match Service from Apple is now starting to appear internationally in select regions. Users in the UK, some countries in Europe, Australia and New Zealand have been reporting that the service have been appearing in their markets.

The iTunes Match Service  which was restricted to the U.S. on launch allows you to take your entire iTunes music library to the cloud, and then stream them between your other iOS and Mac OS X devices.

Apple has still to release a statement about international availability and the option to sign up only appears within the accounts tab, instead of the main iTunes page. It looks like the company is testing out the service with hopes of taking it internationally soon.

UK users will be charged £21.99, while European users will get it at €24.99 and users in Australia are getting a price tag of AU$34.99 a year

This will increase the pressure on Google which has it's own competing Music service rolling out to Android users. While international usage is still not available for Google Music, you can use this guide for a workaround.
