The game succeeds the original Infinity Blade which introduced gamers to the iPhone's graphics capabilities. Infinity Blade II continues from where the previous one left off and adds three new types of weapons, armors and spells:standard, dual welding and two-handed. As you progress through the campaign, the developers promise new elemental powers and capabilities. iCloud is also supported with the sequel, allowing you to save and sync your progress between devices.

The sequel is powered by Unreal Technology and is optimized to take advantage of the enhanced visual capabilities of the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Infinity Blade II is also compatible with the iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPad and iPod touch 4G.
