Google Galaxy Nexus vs. Apple iPhone 4S

It was just a matter of time before the two giants from Apple and Google go head to head against each other. While the Google Galaxy Nexus is still not available in the U.S. the folks at AnandTech put the Android flagship up against the Apple iPhone 4S for some interesting results.

The Galaxy Nexus was able to outscore the iPhone 4S in some web benchmarks while the iPhone 4S dominated in the graphics department.

The Galaxy Nexus features a 1.2 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4460 dual-core processor and the Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX540 GPU. 

The iPhone 4S is powered by the A5 processor which  is clocked at just 800 MHz and a dual-core SGX543MP2 GPU from Imagination Technologies which is credited for its superior graphics performance.
