Google Galaxy Nexus - Customers in South Korea get a free extended battery

The Google Galaxy Nexus users in South Korea are getting a little treat to make up for the battery issues that some users have been facing with the device. Samsung is adding a free 2000mAh extended battery in the Galaxy Nexus package along with a second battery cover to accommodate the bulk which comes with the new battery.

The battery of course would make the device noticeably thicker than it should be, but it helps the device keep its charge for the whole day which people would require from their smartphones.

There is no news if Samsung would extend this courtesy to other Galaxy Nexus users or if the device will have a software fix in time for the U.S. launch of the device.
