Nokia and Microsoft plan event on August 17

Nokia and Microsoft are holding an an event on August 17 which could mark the official release of the first Nokia Windows Phone. While no release date for a device has been revealed by either company we have some idea of what we can expect after the Nokia Sea Ray (Windows Phone prototype) was revealed not so long ago.

The even which is said to be held in Cologne according to the invitations, promises music, a DJ and lots of excitement and surprises. One of the biggest reasons pointing towards this being an announcement date is the raffle prizes which include Nokia Windows Phones (when available).
