Motorola DROID X receives software update

Motorola DROID X receives software updateVerizon has released a small update for the Motorola Droid X which will fix bugs which some users may have experienced after the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update. This update is said to fix all those issues and can be obtained OTA. The software is 11MB in size and will bring the build version to 4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US.

The Droid X was originally released with Android 2.2 Froyo with the Motorola's custom interface on top. The Gingerbread update found users experiencing reduced battery life and lagging.
