HTC Inspire 4G receives Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update

The HTC Inspire 4G is receiving the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update along with some enhancements and bug fixes to the device. The device features a 4.3 inch touch display, 4GB of internal storage with an 8GB microSD card, 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and is powered by a 1GHz processor with 768MB of RAM.

The update will be offered to the device (OTA) over-the-air and you will receive a notification when it is available to download on your device.

You can also download the update from here and manually install it to your device if you prefer.

The enhancements include:

• Android 2.3.3 with the latest features, security and bug fixes
• Updated features to the application tray
• Update to the FriendStream
• Quick Settings added to Notification Window
• Improved power management and updated media experience.
