Angry Birds for Android available for free

In an attempt to further spread the popular Angry Birds, it has been made free for the Android Platform. After months in beta the final version is now available for devices running version Android 1.6 Doughnut and higher. The device should also support OpenGL ES 2.0 and have a display larger than QVGA.

The free version of the app will feature adds, but an option will be available in the future to pay to opt out of ads. You can download your version of Angry Birds from Android Marketplace.
